Rob is an experienced business leader and coach, based in Auckland, New Zealand. He loves to work with forward-thinking CEOs and Leadership Teams to help them break through barriers to growth and achieve their full potential.

Leveraging a successful international career, Rob brings extensive experience into his coaching and consulting practice, in particular strategic thinking, execution planning, performance improvement and turn-around, M&A, leadership development, and team dynamics. Rob has a naturally collaborative style which helps him to facilitate team sessions to bring out the best in people.

As a certified Scaling Up Coach, Rob draws on a wealth of global best practice resources, IP, and tools to complement his own 20 years of senior leadership experience. He loves putting this into practice to help business leaders achieve strategic clarity, align and engage their teams, and drive step-change improvements in results and value.

Professional Highlights

Rob spent 18 years at global communications company Ericsson, based predominantly in Stockholm, in leadership roles across strategy, business development, and finance. Returning to NZ, he spent 3 years as CFO and GM Strategy & Commercial at Spark Digital, before founding his own consulting and coaching business in 2017.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) from the University of Auckland and is lucky enough to have graduated from one of the world’s leading MBA programs at IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Personal Highlights

Rob managed to convince his Swedish wife to move back to New Zealand, and they live with their three teenage sons on Auckland’s North Shore. In whatever time remains after kids’ sport, Rob likes to paddle kayaks and surf skis.
