For more than 30 years, Gil Bonwitt has navigated the entrepreneurial world, launching, scaling and leading a diverse group of for-profit and for-good organizations. Today, he’s committed to sharing the many lessons he’s learned along the way to help nonprofits and social sector- businesses achieve more.
Professional Highlights
Gil is executive chairman of New Horizons Computer Learning, an innovative, award-winning Inc. 500 technology training company he founded in 1996. He is also president of Florida Vocational Institute, which trains students to become entry-level professionals in IT and healthcare. Both companies create positive change in people’s lives through innovative education and have been recognized locally and nationally as “best places to work.” Gil is also a partner in the Scheck Group, an independent private equity and real estate firm.
Personal Highlights
My greatest achievement is my family. I am married to Elise Scheck and together we have five kids, Joshua, Keith, David, Gabriella and Jessica.
